Enquired with a few providers before getting a strong feeling I was in good hands with ECA Maritime College. Definitely rate ECA as thorough, experienced, flexible and at ease in obtaining my Master >45m. Kelly always had time and was super helpful throughout from enquiry, enrollment and flexible completion while I balanced work and study commitments. Harry was a relaxed and experienced trainer/assessor and uses the zoom & online classroom technology with ease considering the sometimes complex nature of the content. The zoom online mode of delivery exceeded expectations and quickly allayed any apprehensions. Also saves a lot of time, travel and accommodation costs to attend the theory components of the course from home which is so convenient. The on-site practical training component was also efficient and thorough. The Daniel Thain provided a comfortable and easy platform to demonstrate practical competency. TOTALLY RECOMMEND ECA for their finesse in online and face to face delivery and a thorough stress free assessment of competency. Thank you again Kelly and Harry!

I completed my MED 1 course through ECA late last year and just did my orals with AMSA today. Probably the best testament to the quality of the course and instructors is the fact that there was a gap of nearly 6 months from course completion to orals (absolutely no fault of ECA) and I retained sufficient knowledge to pass my orals first attempt. I cannot speak highly enough of the course, Kelly or the trainers and assessors I met. ECA probably isn’t the easiest course but definitely the best course provider to prepare you for your orals and subsequent jobs and that was proven today. I was intially hesistant about the Zoom delivery method but quickly realised that it not only works, but actually makes learning easier. The ability to logon from home or work and have space to spread out learning materials as needed made the learning process so much easier. And I saved significant time in travel and accomodation which let me study so much more. I already recommend ECA to my colleagues and will use ECA for more courses in the near future
ECA has been working with Austral Fisheries for over 13 years and every year they work hard to meet our timelines, which are extremely tight. ECA work professionally and we will continue to work with ECA in the future, thank you

I have completed both my Master 24m and MED 2 through ECA’s online classroom platform. I would highly recommend the college to anyone looking to further there career in the industry. The instructors are a wealth of knowledge and always go above and beyond to provide as much assistance as required. The admin staff have also been fantastic and very accommodating. Overall, a great experience with the college and I would highly recommend to anyone.
Great school, people and course. Was part of the inaugural online training (Master 5) via Zoom, had no issues with presentations or theory components, exams done online. Interaction and banter between students was still there, we worked at a comfortable pace and I never felt rushed. Also had the luxury and comforts of a home environment. Overall happy student, I will look, and happily recommend to anyone Eca Maritime for my/their next course and ticket. Now just getting my seahours….thats a slow process
The best college to gain or upgrade your marine tickets. I have studied through this college both remotely via correspondence and in class at the college and I honestly can’t fault them. The knowledge and support is second to none which gave me the real option to study remotely when required, due to me being interstate at the time. I received the same experience when studying at the college with the only difference being, I could ask the lecturer questions face to face rather than having to call him up. Either way I was able to gain my tickets with ease. I was a little skeptical at studying via correspondence and wasn’t sure I’d be able to complete the course without having face to face help by the lecturer but ECA guided me through the whole course from start to finish with good fast response times to enable me to complete the course with ease. Thanks ECA!
My experience with ECA Maritime College is not only the most professional but also friendly and pleasant learning experience I have had in an educational setting. All courses are clearly outlined and the equipment is of the highest quality! All trainers are extremely knowledgeable as well as helpful. I actually had fun as well as gained the skills and understanding I needed. Highly recommend!
